This is an automated inspection device developed for various parts' dimensions, appearance, and other defects. It uses feeding mechanisms such as vibratory bowls to automatically transport parts to a glass turntable, where the visual inspection station performs image processing on the parts. The motion controller completes the constant-speed rotation of the glass turntable and controls the multi-station CCD cameras and air blow devices through encoder feedback and hardware position comparison output, achieving fully automatic multi-surface appearance and dimension inspection and sorting. It can achieve inspection speeds up to 320 pcs per minute. The market turntable visual sorting machine is widely used in 3C electronics, lithium batteries, electronic components, semiconductors, hardware, and other industrial manufacturing fields.

II. Principle of Glass Turntable Visual Screening Machine
1. Working Principle
First, parts are conveyed to the high-transparency glass turntable via a vibration plate. Then, sensors detect the incoming parts, and the controller records the actual position of the parts at the input port with high-speed latching. When the turntable rotates to the visual inspection station, the controller triggers the camera to take photos through the high-speed output port, then performs image processing calculations, and finally conducts automatic inspection and screening based on preset detection standards, removing defective products.
2. Principle of Motion Control System
The turntable-type visual screening system based on a motion controller has higher system integration, response speed, and efficiency compared to traditional PLC + touch screen solutions. During the rapid movement of the glass turntable, the camera is hardware-triggered to perform visual flying shots of the materials for image processing, and the corresponding screening classification results are output in real time, significantly improving detection speed.

3. Principle of Visual System
According to the rotational speed requirements of the turntable, certain requirements must be met for the camera's photo response, exposure time, pixels, and light source control methods to complete functions such as visual flying shots, measurement, and inspection of different parts based on the motion speed.
III. Application of Motion Controller Cooperating with Vision in Turntable Visual Screening Equipment
1. System Operation Process
Loading Products to be Inspected
According to the type of material, select the corresponding vibration plate to convey parts onto the high-transparency glass turntable, where the turntable rotates at a set constant speed;

Sensing Materials and Recording Position
When the sensor detects the material, the high-speed latch port based on the laser sensor records the current position of the material;

Camera Triggering to Take Photos
Using the latched position from the high-speed latch port, calculate the positions of each camera. The motion controller's internal hardware position comparison outputs trigger the cameras to perform visual flying shots;

Visual System Processing
Perform visual inspection, measurement, recognition, and other functions on the photographed material images, and transmit OK or NG signals to the motion controller; air blowing screening

Based on the results feedback from the visual system to the motion controller and the material position latched by the sensor, calculate the position of the air blowing port. The motion controller's internal hardware position comparison outputs control the air blowing port to screen good/bad products.
